League of Legends Patch 9.14 tier list aggregation – jungle edition
By Josh Tyler
Buffed champions
Sylas
With buffs to his passive Petricide Burst, Q – Chain Lash, and getting a shield on the first cast of his E – Abscond/Abduct, Sylas is certainly feeling much stronger in the jungle despite the nerfs to his R – Hijack. His win rate in the jungle is at the highest it’s ever been in solo queue (48.4%), which is good enough to bring him into our C tier.
Nidalee
With the base damage to her E – Swipe (Cougar form) getting buffed, Nidalee’s win rate shot up from 51% in 9.13 to 51.9%. That’s the sixth-best jungle win rate and she has thus joined our A tier for the first time since Patch 9.3.
Poppy
She’s a niche pick in the jungle, sure, but Poppy’s jungle presence has improved in Patch 9.14, with her pick rate going up. Her win rate did also drop by over 1%, but these play changes – which were thanks to the new ground effect added to her W – Steadfast Presence brought Poppy jungle back onto our tier list. She’s now in the D tier, the highest she’s been since Patch 9.3.
Nerfed champions
Mordekaiser
The nerfs to the damage on his Q – Darkness Rise and E – Death’s Grasp (technically it was a nerf to his magic penetration, but it functions to give him more damage) weren’t aimed at Mordekaiser jungle. Like Poppy, Morde jungle has been a very niche pick with a pick rate lower even than Poppy’s. Thus, he remains in the F tier where he was back in Patch 9.12.
Aatrox
Finally, we have Aatrox who got a “nerf” to his R – World Ender by removing the revive mechanic, but got buffs almost everywhere else including his healing. While Aatrox did move up in the tier list, it was only to escape the basement of F tier to the slightly less-dingy basement of D tier. His win rate remains solidly around 46.3%.
