1. G2 Esports (6 points, 2-0-0)

G2 came into the summer with one of the most talented rosters Europe has ever seen, and it’s clear that they are the best team in the region right now.

What’s scary is that they are only going to get better. Even though people have tried to make it seem like it’s not that big of a deal, incorporating a completely new bottom lane is a monstrous change that will take some time for all of G2 to get used to.

This team is going to dominate all split long because they have three threats to truly hard-carry any game: Luka “PerkZ” Perkovic, Kang-yoon “Trick” Kim and  Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen.  That’s a luxury that very few teams across all regions have, and it gives them a lot of breathing room for mistakes. It doesn’t matter if Zven is off for a game or two because he has great players backing him up.

People have tried to use Matuesz “Kikis” Szkudlarek as a reason that G2 will be held back, but honestly, it’s going to be nearly impossible for him to mess this up. Kikis might be a major weak point for G2 whenever they take on top international teams, but he will always do just fine against the competition in Europe. G2 don’t need some huge threat in the top lane. They need someone who can be a viable tank while getting nearly zero resources, and Kikis can do just that for them. He also showed everyone how effective he can be on Fizz as he finished with a 23 KDA in two games against Giants.

Seeing how good G2 can become this split is going to be very exciting.
