5. Team Vitality (2 points, 0-2-0)

Vitality were one of the dominant teams for the entire regular season of the Spring Split, but they actually came into the summer looking a tad bit weaker after some roster changes.

However, their fantastic trio of Lucas “Cabochard” Simon-Meslet, Erlend “Nukeduck” Holm and Raymond “KaSing” Tsang should be good enough to carry Vitality into the playoffs at the very least. And who knows, if the team comes together like it did in the spring, maybe they can get back to the top of the ladder after all.

They finished Week 1 with two ties, but the outcomes shouldn’t be weighed equally. Not getting a win against Splyce was a super disappointing way to start the Summer Split, but they bounced back fairly well against Fnatic. Although they got beat pretty handily in the second game of the series, they looked very good in game one and showed that they still have a decent amount of potential.

Origen and ROCCAT should be favorable matchups for Vitality, and picking up two wins would be great for them moving forward. Unfortunately, they might be stuck as a mediocre team if they come out with a couple of ties again.
