1. TSM (2-0)

The boys are back, and they sure as hell looked good.

Everyone expected TSM to be a lot better than they were during the Spring Split since their team should complement each other better, but it was thought to take some time for that to come to fruition . After all, the team brought in a rookie support, and surely he would need at least a few weeks of NA LCS experience before being comfortable enough to perform to the best of his abilities.

Maybe their Korean bootcamp was like training in the hyperbolic time chamber, because TSM was shockingly good in Week 1 – and so was their rookie.

Vincent “Biofrost” Wang exceeded everyone’s expectations over the course of his first four career games and was a large part of why TSM won both of their series. Biofrost played a different champion in each game (Karma, Braum, Nami and Bard) and finished with a 6.9 KDA and 79.7 kill participation percentage – but most importantly – he seemed like the ideal type of support for Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng.

Besides Biofrost, literally every single member of TSM looked very sharp. Kevin “Hauntzer” Yarnell stepped up big time and was a complete monster, Dennis “Svenskeren” Johnsen picked up where he left off in the playoffs and the carry duo of Soren “Bjergsen” Bjerg and Doublelift looked great as always.

They handled CLG and Team Liquid easily, and it will be exciting seeing them face off with Immortals on Sunday. If they are able to crush them as well…oh man, the rest of the league better watch out.
