2016 NA LCS Summer Split Week 2 Power Rankings

8. Team Liquid (0-2)
Want to know how you break a fourth-place curse? By finishing at the bottom of the ladder, of course!
All jokes aside, Liquid couldn’t have had a worse start to the season.
They thought they could teach Joshua “Dardoch” Hartnett a lesson by benching him for Galen “Moon” Holgate, but the only lesson taught was that Liquid is really awful without their star jungler.
They were expected to defeat Team Envy, but they surprisingly got crushed in both games. Liquid played like a team with no initiative at all and got absolutely ran on because of it.
A loss was expected against TSM, but Liquid should have at least been able to compete with them. Sadly, that wasn’t the case either. After being dominated in Game 1, Liquid shockingly benched Moon for Dardoch, but the lineup change didn’t change the outcome at all. Dardoch’s presence allowed them to compete in the early-game, but things still fell apart after that.
This team has players that aren’t going to take losing well at all, and they better hope that some drastic improvement were made during the past week. Liquid
Liquid has games against CLG and Echo Fox this week, and those are two series that they could easily lose.
