2016 NA LCS Summer Split Week 2 Power Rankings

3. Apex (2-0)
It feels crazy to have Apex up this high, but they truly deserve it after Week 1.
Apex traveled all the way through the Challenger Series and promotion tournament to get here, and their veterans look as hungry as anyone else in the region.
Lae-Young “Keane” Jang looked stronger than ever before and was the real carry for the team. He finished the team’s first five games with a 5.8 KDA, 74.4 kill participation percentage and did 29.6 percent of his team’s damage.
The bot lane due of Apollo “Apollo” Price and Alex “Xpecial” Chu looked better than anyone had expected and had some real standout moments.
However, the biggest surprise from Apex was top laner Jeon “Ray” Ji-won. Most people didn’t know much about him coming into the split, but they sure do now. Apex took down CLG 2-1, and Ray was a beast on Fizz in both of his team’s victories.
Maybe the team was simply riding high on some Week 1 magic, but it looks like they could actually be a strong playoff team.
We will have a better idea of them after Week 2 as they have two tough contests against Team Envy and TSM.
Next: 2. Immortals
