First One in, Last One to Leave

The more you play support champions, the more you’ll start to see that their skills enable them to setup your team to engage the enemy or to disengage away.

Support champions can be the first ones to start a fight and the last ones to leave. Braum, Nautilus, Sona, Annie and several more all have kits where they can engage an enemy team so that your team can follow up with damage.

Likewise, when a situation gets rough, their kits also make it so that you can help your teammates get away and live to fight another day.

Because of this though, supports can often be the champion that gets caught out and dies while trying to get away or trying to start a team fight with the opposing team.

It’s also important to try not to be the first one in a fight if your team isn’t fully behind you in the move. Not only could you be potentially wasting your ult, but you could end up getting killed, which ruins the chance of winning a team fight.

Have the mindset of protecting your team and understand that you may be the first one to start a major fight and the last one to leave.
