Gordon Hayward has skills on both the court and the Rift.

Gordon Hayward is best known for being the small forward of the Utah Jazz, but in the League of Legends community, he is known for loving the game just like all of us.

Hayward has never shied away from expressing his passion for League, and it became a pretty big story in the sports world. ESPN even made a League of Legends style highlight video for Hayward and the Jazz earlier this year (remember, it’s the thought that counts).

While we have always heard about Hayward’s love for the game, we’ve never actually seen him in action — until today.

The basketball star was streaming on Twitch and made some nice plays.

Not too shabby, huh?

He plays under the name “GTimeee” and is ranked Gold 4. His most played champion (by a lot) is Tryndamere, and then he also plays a decent amount of Wukong, Fizz and Ezreal.

Gold 4 is a very respectable ranking, and it’s crazy that an NBA star is somehow better than most of the people who casually play the game. Just imagine how good he could be if he actually put in the hours to be better. Maybe Hayward is in the NA LCS in some alternate life.

If you would like to see more of his talents on Summoner’s Rift, you can tune into his stream on Twitch. He goes by the name “gdhayward.”

The question everyone has for Hayward is when will he get involved with a team as either an owner or investor? There have been multiple opportunities for him to do so recently, but he has yet to pull the trigger on any of them. He needs to join Shaquille O’Neal and Rick Fox in the group of NBA players who are in the NA LCS teams.
