2016 NA LCS Summer Split: Week 4 power rankings
By Andrew Ross
4. Team Envy
Week 3 was amazing for Team Envy and all their fans.
The team had a great record heading into the week, but it was a pretty meaningless one with wins against bad teams.
Envy faced off against Immortals and CLG last week and came out looking really good. They lost to Immortals but could have easily won if a couple of things went their way, and CLG didn’t seem to give Envy too much trouble at all.
It’s clear this team belongs at the top, and now people will start to wonder just how good can they be.
Well, this week might answer that question as they battle Cloud9 and TSM. The opportunity is theirs. Let’s see what they do with it.
3. Cloud9
Cloud9 can be a bit inconsistent and drop a game to a bad team here and there, but overall, the team has been extremely promising.
They’ve already faced off against the top two teams in the region, and all things considered, they came out looking pretty good in both series.
The good thing for this team is that they haven’t even come close to hitting their potential. They still have a completely new coaching staff and roster, and that’s going to take some time to come together properly.
Their series against Team Envy should be a good one.
Next: 2. Immortals, 1. TSM
