50 best League of Legends champions of all-time

32. Hecarim
This pony is a pain to face in solo queue, but beyond that, there is a lot he has to offer.
Back a couple of seasons ago, there was an interaction which made him uniquely offer something to the team — an ability that scaled off of movement speed. This allowed him to use Homeguard’s to teleport into a fight and instantly vaporize a squishy target. It was exciting to watch and certainly brought fresh plays into a rapidly maturing game. His ability to pull off this specific maneuver has been removed from the game, as Homeguard’s has been removed from the game, as well as the scaling, but it definitely was interesting.
Past the previously mentioned aspects, Hecarim has other unique mechanics that make him fascinating as a champion. One is that he can run behind enemy champions and launch them back into the team, as well as combine his charge with his ult. This ends up making a champion that is typically strong in small skirmishes also have a strong catch potential and a decent teamfight.
Not to mention, it’s probably one of the scariest sights in the entire game to see a Hecarim sprinting at you when you have no health…
It doesn’t get any more terrifying than that. And you thought Rammus was fast…
