ARURF: 20 best URF champions to get in All Random URF
By Andrew Ross
Karthus
Karthus is the type of champion that everyone will be trying to trade for if you’re lucky enough to get him in ARURF.
His entire kit is simply dumb with the URF buffs. Karthus players will spam Q for the entirety of the game. Laning against Karthus is absolute hell as that ability is one of the best early-game ones in URF. His W normally isn’t anything to worry about, but that changes whenever he can put it out every second. Good luck chasing him down. His E is another ability players normally wouldn’t care too much about, but since mana isn’t a problem in URF, Karthus can literally have his E going at all times. So, if you do somehow get to him, you’re going to take a lot of damage from his E.
Oh, and don’t forget about his ultimate. Karthus’ ult is one of the most fun abilities in the game, and that transitions over to URF very well. It’s such a powerful ability that it still has a long cooldown for URF standards, but the short wait is always worth it. You’re guaranteed easy kills just by pressing R. Much skill. Very mechanics. Wow.
Kassadin
People don’t usually think of Kassadin whenever they are considering top URF champions, but that’s because they probably haven’t had to play against it in a very long time.
We could talk about his entire kit, but there’s really only one thing that separates him from everyone else — his ultimate.
Riftwalk has always been a great ability, but it takes on a new life in URF. Once you hit level 16, you can use it every second until either you’re dead or have killed everyone else. This isn’t possible in normal games because of the massive mana costs, but you know how mana goes in URF. This allows Kassadin to be a mobility machine that can hunt you down at all times. There’s no escaping it. Either kill him or be killed.
Also, don’t sleep on the damage his Q and E can do. He will mow you down with those abilities.
