Lucian: The Purifier

Lucian is another champion who is consistently good, regardless of the current meta. The key to his reliability is his passive, which gives him a double auto attack after every ability used.

His passive allows you to trade on your terms and trade with amplified damage. You can use an ability to hit a champion then double auto them for additional damage. It lets Lucian trade better in lane than most ADCs and lets him push opponents out of the lane.

Lucian also has a dash, called “Relentless Pursuit” which can let you escape a dangerous situation or engage your lane opponent on your terms. Every time you use Lightslinger (Lucian’s double shot), the cooldown gets reduced.

He is easy to get started with but hard to master. It is a great place to start learning the intricacies of the ADC role.
