7. Cho’Gath, the Terror of the Void

Cho’gath is one of the few tanks that gains increased damage by stacking health. What makes this even more intense for his enemies, is that his ultimate ability, Devour, can increase his maximum health every time it finishes off a minion, monster or enemy champion.

The only saving grace for his enemies is the knowledge that he can only stack minions and monsters 6 times. On champions and epic monsters the stacks can go on indefinitely. Which in turn, will truly make him a force to reckon with in the Rift.

Cho’gath is not without his downside. While he does have innate tankiness, he has no real gap closers to properly engage on the enemy team. That’s where Righteous Glory fits in. He’ll usually pick this up as his second or third completed item, and when you see it pop the best thing to do is run the other way.
