Jungle
S Tier: Kha’Zix
A Tier: Graves, Shaco, Jax, Lee Sin, Kayn, Rengar, Camille, Udyr, Evelynn, Elise, Master Yi, Kindred
B Tier: Xin Zhao, Rammus, Taliyah, Pantheon, Nidalee, Jarvan IV, Nocturne, Vi, Warwick, Nunu & Willump, Rek’Sai, Karthus, Wukong, Shyvana, Amumu,
C Tier: Fiddlesticks, Ivern, Gragas, Zac, Hecarim, Twitch, Olaf, Aatrox, Ekko,
D Tier: Skarner, Sejuani, Volibear
Moving next to the jungle section of the tier list, we see that Kha’Zix is king. Not only is he rated more highly than the best top – Jax – the difference between Kha’Zix and his next closest competitor is the difference between Jax and the fourth-ranked top.
Despite being the target of nerfs in Patch 8.24, Jax remains in the A tier for the jungle. It’s also interesting that the three highest-ranked junglers were all Dark Harvest users, which also received heavy nerfs in 8.24.
No real big surprises for the jungle tier list when adjusting for lower-elo, although Kha’Zix is not considered to be as strong as some A tier contemporaries like Lee Sin, Jax, or Kayn. However, much like Irelia, there is a lot of disagreement among the tier lists as to where Lee should be ranked. Especially in lower elos, we would likely recommend not picking Lee Sin no matter how flashy he might be. And FYI, the most “stable” pick on these tier lists in our A tier is none other than the Demon Jester himself, Shaco.
In terms of classes faring well or poorly out of the jungle, once again we can see that tanks are struggling. The C and D tiers have three juggernauts, three tanks, and three divers would be considered more like tanks than their diving contemporaries rated higher (e.g. Hecarim in C tier vs Camille in the A tier). This gives more credence to theories posed among the league community that part of the reason marksmen feels less important is that tanks are faring so poorly, which makes sense as marksmen should perform better against tanks.
