S Tier: Kha’Zix, Xin Zhao

A Tier: Jax, Lee Sin, Shaco, Graves, Kayn, Kindred, Evelynn, Elise, Udyr, Camille, Rengar, Rammus, Master Yi

B Tier: Nocturne, Nunu & Willump, Nidalee, Warwick, Pantheon, Taliyah, Jarvan IV, Vi, Amumu, Ivern, Wukong

C Tier: Fiddlesticks, Shyvana, Rek’Sai, Zac, Karthus, Gragas, Hecarim, Olaf, Twitch, Ekko, Poppy, Neeko

D Tier: Skarner, Sejuani, Volibear, Dr. Mundo, Trundle, Diana

Most buffed champion: Xin Zhao.

Mostnerfed champion: Karthus. Honorable mentions, Kha’Zix.

The cheese no longer stands alone, and by cheese I, of course, mean Kha’Zix. Last patch, Kha was the king of the jungle by an undisputedly wide margin. But now, just one “patch” later, he’s joined by a new contemporary in Xin Zhao.

And what a huge leap it was for Xin, who made one of the biggest gains of any champion on the Patch 8.24(b) tier list. In one patch, Xin went from a B tier pick to an S tier. What’s even more astounding is that in both patches there was a very similar spread of opinion as to his positioning, meaning that there was large agreement that his position in the jungle has improved.

Another champion to give a nod to is Ivern, who jumped from C tier to B tier over the last patch. This was predicted by Nick “LS” deCesare in his Patch 8.24(b) breakdown, where he noted that the enchanter item cost buffs would be a boon to the Greenfather. Although Ivern has improved, he’s still not expected to be more than a niche pick.

Finally, we’ll continue to note that Lee Sin is one of the most volatile junglers on our list (i.e. the largest spread of opinion as to his positioning), joined by Karthus after those recent nerfs. It’s still highly advised that players who are not as proficient on Lee stay clear of him, but judging by the fact that he has over a 25% pick rate above Platinum, he won’t be holding our breath.
