Similar to top lane, Yasuo becomes a more powerful pick in low elo, graduating from an A tier pick in high elo to an S in low elos. Surprisingly, though, Aatrox becomes more effective in mid lane, although he got worse in low elos as a top laner. We also see Lissandra and Irelia drop in effectiveness as compared to our high elo tier list.

Despite the nerfs, Pyke still appears to be a decent pick in the mid lane in low elo, likely due to the novelty of the pick and less-experienced players not being able to adapt. However, control mages also jump up in terms of effectiveness – Ziggs, Brand – as opposed to assassins like Leblanc and Talon.

Unsurprisingly, Zoe is of little effectiveness in silver, whereas picks that would be more readily abused in high elo like Morgana, Wukong, and Malphite make appearances on this list. And, with all due respect to LS, it appears that Annie is not the dominating force in low elos that most would think she would be. Instead, better alternatives would be champions like Lux, Veigar, Brand, and Xerath.
