Same song, different chorus. Lucian is the best ADC, one of the best champions in the game. Ban him if you’re not going to pick him, Riot please nerf this guy or drop the crit changes so someone can dethrone him, blah blah blah.

Instead of rehashing these points, let’s instead talk about a couple of champions who have had interesting paths over the past few patches: Vayne and Jhin.

When we first started tracking these stats, the number two AD Carry after Lucian was Jhin. Since then, however, he has consistently dropped in the rankings, his influence dropping each and every patch despite receiving no meaningful buffs or nerfs. Now, he is solidly in the B tier.

On the other hand, Vayne was a B tier champion back in Patch 8.24, but is now right where Jhin used to be – second to Lucian on our tier list. It’s interesting to see those two champions have swapped spots, while other champions around their tier – like Kai’Sa, Draven, Ezreal, and Twitch – have largely remained static during that same time period.

Also, a quick RIP to ADC Karthus, who is no longer among the living in the Patch 9.2 tier list. Good night sweet prince.
