Game 4 – Excel Esports vs Team Vitality

Game 4 of LEC Week 4 Day 2 sees Excel looking to brave the storm of Team Vitality. Both teams come off of a defeat yesterday and both suffering from pretty humiliating defeats at that. Cabochard and Jiizuke both looked pretty dejected after being slapped down by Jankos’ R button, thanks to Karthus! Excel on the other hand, despite the speed of the game, the squad wasn’t getting killed over and over. They just found themselves out-macro’d by a superior team.

Vitality and Excel are a relatively decent stylistic match, both teams are strong early game teams that both have this explosive play style. That being said, the majority of Excel’s early game power is from the top side of their map and Vitality’s bottom side tends to be their power point.

As long as Mowgli can come bottom and get the snowball going this will be a relatively easy Vitality win!

Game 5 – Fnatic vs G2 Esports

This is it, everyone! The two greatest legacy teams of the European league scene collide today in Game 5 of LEC Week 4 Day 2. Undisputed kings G2 Esports face Fnatic, who despite an unfortunate 0-4 start seem to be picking up wins in the last 2 games they’ve played. Obviously, both of these games were against Rogue and Excel so it’s not exactly cause for celebration yet, but we’ll see if Fnatic can pick this up.

My hyped matchup for this game will be between the top laners; as long as Broxah makes his way to top and doesn’t just tunnel vision on Rekkles we can see Bwipo really shine like he did during the world championships. I want to see a carry vs carry matchup between Wunder & Bwipo!

I’m also looking to see some more proactive play from Nemesis, but obviously, he’s going to be face-to-face with the best mid laner in West so the kid is going to have his work cut out for him. Having said that I want to see Nemesis playing with confidence, don’t put him on a champion like Galio/Lissandra/Malzahar – put him on something with some agency and make some big plays with Broxah to put Caps in his place!

I’m brave with my predictions but not brave enough to give this to Fnatic. So today we’re calling this a G2 win!

Next. So LCK Week 3 was wild!. dark
