The End of an Era

And while almost every fan of League of Legends assumed that Immortals were now a mainstay, owing to their insane runs through most Regular Seasons, and the drama of each post-season collapse. Unfortunately, the real brains of the operation had other plans.

Someone had determined that Immortals weren’t up to snuff with the likes of Echo Fox and Clutch Gaming and the organization was effectively disbanded with little or no community notice ahead of time. Noah Whinston made a heartfelt apology to fans, and that was it.

And now, instead of those lame thirty-minute adrenaline-pumping stomps, complete with quadra kills and base races, spicy playoff implosions and one-loss seasons, we’re treated to… this.
