Oh avert your gaze children. If ever there was a lane to look at for the fiesta, this will be it. A faceoff between the two worst ADCs (statistically) in the LCS, there will be no lane more volitaile than this one.

First, Matthew “Deftly” Chen of GGS who has the distinction of being the “better” of the two in this matchup. Despite decent KDA and gold numbers, Deftly possesses the lowest DPM and damage share of any LCS ADC with over two games played this year. Like Pobelter, it’s not as though he’s playing champions that don’t do damage – his most-played champions are Lucian and Ezreal – but he’s still just not doing enough in fights.

Contrast that to Jason “WildTurtle” Tran who is trying to do too much in fights. Despite doing a decent job outputting damage for his team, WildTurtle has the most deaths of any LCS ADC, giving him the second-worst KDA at the position excluding subs. As a result, WildTurtle accounts for the highest death share among ADCs.

As for Turtle’s champion pool, it’s a bit more constrained than Deftly’s. He has five games on Ezreal, four on Kai’Sa, and three on Xayah. Given that he has a 7-2 record on Ezreal and Kai’Sa, I’d guess that GGS will prioritize banning them out.
