Ygritte = Ashe
Two female archers from the frozen north. The only way Ashe could be more like Ygritte is if she also had red hair.
Tormund Giantsbane = Olaf
Tormund is just a huge, Viking type guy. Not very distinct as a character other than loving a good fight, a good drink, and a good woman. I think he and Olaf would get along quite splendidly, so he’s a natural character to play him in our recasting.
Gilly = Nidalee
A wildling brought down from north of the wall and then becomes more humanized, Nidalee is probably the closest comparable to Gilly. She switches from her wild cougar side to the human side more fluidly than Gilly did.
Samwell Tarly = Skaarl
I was thinking about making Sam one of the more bookish, sciencey characters like Heimerdinger. But Sam isn’t particularly smart or inventive. What he is, undeniably, more than any other character in Game of Thrones is craven.
Although Skaarl isn’t technically a champion, he’s at least half of the Kled/Skaarl duo, and he’s easily the most cowardly critter in League of Legends. If there’s a champion in League more likely to throw down his sword, scream “I yield,” and beg for mercy, I haven’t found them.
Hodor = Rammus
In truth, I just want to see a conversation between these two. Can they understand each other? Would they be as annoyed and/or frustrated as well all do when we try speaking to them? I don’t know, but it would be hilarious.
