Rek’sai

Jeff: Stud

Rek’sai has been TSM’s jungler Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham’s signature pick this playoffs, boasting a 4-0 record with the champion. TL’s jungler Jake “Xmithie” Puchero has also shown good performances on Rek’sai and has favored the jungle champion in the past. With both junglers showing strong performances on this champion and due to Rek’sai’s ability to apply early lane pressure and farm effectively, either team would feel great to pick up Rek’sai and will definitely be a stud this series.

Josh: Stud

Rek’Sai was the fifth-most picked jungler in the LCS in the Spring Split, despite the fact that she was not picked at all in the LCS until Blaber broke the Void Burrower out in Week 6. In that brief time, she’s not only been one of the most contested junglers, she’s also been one of the winningest.

Of the top five junglers picked in the LCS last split, Rek’Sai has the second-highest win percent at 56.3%. The only jungler with more games played and a higher win percentage is Sejuani, who has largely disappeared from the meta in recent patches.

Ben: Stud

Whether it’s in solo queue or competitive play, Rek’Sai is definitely a stud. It wouldn’t surprise me if we saw her picked/banned in every game of the series on Saturday, such is her priority in the jungle role at the moment.

Rek’Sai will not single-handedly win or lose you the game, but her utility and early game damage make her one of the most contested picks in competitive play at the moment. You should expect to see both Xmithie and Akaadian on the champion at some point on Saturday.
