Recasting the Marvel Cinematic Universe with League of Legends champions

Clint Barton / Hawkeye = Ashe

Yeah, this one is purely off the fact that they’re both bow and arrow users. The other alternative was either Varus or Vayne but honestly, Ashe just fits better. Plus, Hawkey is kind of the most vanilla Avenger and Ashe is probably the most vanilla League of Legends champion.

Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow = Caitlyn

I know Lucian is the “wields two pistols” champion, but Caitlyn is a much better comparison to me for Black Widow. Caitlyn isn’t just the Sherrif of Piltover, she’s also a ruthless hunter for her quarry. Just like Black Widow.

And I know that Vi would be the better comparison for a bounty hunting merc like Romanoff. But let’s be honest, ScarJo does not have the hips to match Vi.

James Rhodes / War Machine = Urgot

There’s no champion out there that was specifically built by Viktor, so let’s go with the beefy, bruising, totally loaded out experiment. That would be the shotgun-kneed freakazoid himself Urgot. He’s even got bionic legs just like Rhodey!

Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch = Syndra

We need someone who can manipulate matter and Syndra most definitely “plays” like the Scarlet Witch. Whereas Wanda will throw cars, boxes, or just pure energy at her enemies, Syndra will throw minions and packs quite the wallop.

Vision = Leona

Again, we need someone who is basically a God to match up with Vision and we go back to Mount Targon. Leona is the Aspect of the Sun, with the power to harness the sun to bring down massive beams of light to disable her enemies. She’s stout, strong, and unmovable, kind of like Vision.
