Recasting the Marvel Cinematic Universe with League of Legends champions

Scott Lang / Ant-Man = Fizz
Look, there’s really no great comparison to Ant-Man other than Gnar who’s already taken. This isn’t an apples-to-apples comparison, but we needed a quick, nimble fighter who relies more on guile than strength. Fizz is the best option to replicate Ant-Man’s fighting style of popping in and out to do a bunch of damage in between.
Dr. Strange = Zilean
A master of the mystic arts and a manipulator of time travel, both Zilean and Dr. Strange fight in a very unique manner. They don’t go after you directly but instead manipulate the space around you to win the battle. Hopefully, the Avengers can use Dr. Strange’s Time Stone to revive everyone the same way Zilean uses his ult to save allies.
Peter Parker / Spider-Man = Ezreal
Yeah, this one isn’t a great comparison either. Thematically Elise fits to a tee, but her look and fighting style don’t match with the Webslinger. Instead, I’m going with the champion whose attitude and fighting style remind me most of Spidey.
That would be Ezeal, the nimble fighter who jumps into fights to throw out little daggers of damage and then dash back out. Plus, Ezreal’s constant awe of discovery and chipper attitude just match with Peter’s perfectly.
T’Challa / Black Panther = Udyr
Again, the panther/Nidalee parallel is right there for the taking, but instead, I decided to go for the stylistic similarity. Black Panther fights in a very cat-like style, sure, but he also has the same brute-force abilities as Udyr, something that a champion like Nidalee lacks.
T’Challa fights with his fists and feet, not so much with weapons like Nidalee does. Plus, Udyr harnesses the power of ancient animal spirits, very much like Black Panther. There’s a level of mysticism to Black Panther that is always so alluring to me, which is why I leaned more towards Udyr than Nidalee.
