Rising Champions

Taric (B to A tier)
Not only is Taric rated as an A tier pick, but there is also almost no spread among the tier lists as to the opinion of his strength. I’m not sure how much of this is influenced by the Sona/Taric bot lane that is so prevalent now, but certainly, Taric is considered to be a strong pick by the majority of sites we collect data from.

Lulu (B to A tier)
No buffs or nerfs, but the difference is that one site has listed Lulu as an S tier pick right now. That’s enough for her to get into the A tier. It is worth noting, though, that most tier lists still rate her as a B tier pick, so I wouldn’t put a ton of confidence in her as a strong pick right now.

Fiddlesticks (B to A tier)
Unlike Lulu and Taric, who have general consensus on their placement, Fiddle has a lot of disagreement as to where he should be. Three sites rank him as A tier, two as B tier, and three as C tier.

Leona (B to A tier)
I suspect that Leona could be rising because of the recent buffs to her key rune, Aftershock. Making it scale more with your resistances and health and be more tank-oriented than damage-focused probably helped Leona improve.

Braum (C to B tier)
Braum’s a tank, but not a big Aftershock user, so his rise in our tier list is a bit more puzzling. He’s still very middle-of-the-road, with almost every site having him in that B to C range.

Tahm Kench (D to C tier)
A recipient of basically a miniature rework in Patch 9.9, Tahm took a giant leap this patch in our tier list, to the point that he could jump up into the B tier next patch as the opinion of his new kit continues to change.

Neeko (D to C tier)
I wouldn’t put a ton of stock into this rise. Two tier lists had her rated as a B tier or better support, but three didn’t have her ranked at all. Any time tier lists are consistently leaving a champion off their rankings, I tend to get a bit nervous.
