New players: Cody “Cody Sun” Sun

The big move for this team was replacing their ADC Chae “Piglet” Gwang-jin with Cody Sun. It’s certainly an upgrade on paper, as Piglet was one of the bottom-three ADCs from the Spring Split.

However, Cody Sun has never struck me as a top-tier AD Carry in the LCS. The big question is whether he will slot in that second tier (with Bang and Arrow) or third tier (with Stixxay and Apollo) of ADCs. The other big question is whether Piglet was the main issue holding this team out of the playoff (spoiler, it wasn’t).

Player to watch: Nam “LirA” Tae-yoo

LirA is one of the more underrated junglers in the LCS, posting one of the best kill participations, vision scores per minute, and gold differentials at 15 of all junglers last spring. He tends to get outshined by other contemporaries like Xmithie, Svenskeren, and Santorin because they tend to die a lot less, be more efficient at collecting gold, and out-damage him.

LirA could be a boon to his team’s strong solo laners, especially Huni in the top lane, which is where this team should be looking to play. He’s a young jungler, so we’ll see if he can continue to improve his own play and his teammates with more experience.

Trending: down

This is just a slight downward trend because I don’t think they are the dead-last team in the LCS. But Clutch won five games last split and I don’t know that they will win quite that many in the Summer Split.
