For our MVP picks, we’ll rank players week by week in terms of their raw overall rankings relative to their positions. In the future, though, we may take into account how strong their teammates are, but for now, we’ll just give the top five players through one week of play.

While it’s fun to pick out the best players, it’s only fitting that we also give some time and attention to those players who have performed so poorly in their first week of play that they’d be up for the least valuable player. Relative to the others in their positions, these guys were the worst. Hopefully, they’ll be able to turn it around.
