Jungle

On to the jungle, we see a returning face have a strong opening week, along with a good start for the only rookie on the list. But which jungler did the best in Week 1?

1. Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski (G2 Esports)
2. Mads “Broxah” Brock-Pedersen (Fnatic)
3. Andrei “Xerxe” Dragomir (Splyce)
4. Kacper “Inspired” Słoma (Rogue)

In his rookie debut, Inspired had an inspiring (pun intended) performance. His 4.17 aKDA led all junglers as did his early game grade (he had an impressive gold lead at 10 of almost 500g and an experience lead of over 350). Gripe if you want for the win coming against weak competition in bottom-dweller Excel, but Inspired certainly started his career strong.

5. Kim “Trick” Gang-yun (Schalke 04)

Welcome back to Europe Trick! The former G2 jungler came back with authority, leading all junglers in damage quotient (damage per minute times adjusted percent of team’s damage) playing Trundle and Elise. He’s still got some rust showing, especially his poor pathing (he averages a gold deficit at 10 of over 400) but Trick is back.

6. Jonas “Kold” Andersen (Origen)
7. Oskar “Selfmade” Boderek (SK Gaming)
8. Nubar “Maxlore” Sarafian (Misfits)

Maxlore had a stand-out opening week, but not in a good way. His KDA, gold, damage, and vision stats are all fine, but his early game is atrociously bad. He averages an 800 gold and 300 XP deficit at 10 minutes.

9. Lee “Mowgli” Jae-ha (Vitality)
10. Marc Robert “Caedrel” Lamont (Excel Esports)
