Contractz got a bit of a shot in the arm to his stats by getting to beat up on 100 Thieves and their flailing jungler, Amazing, last Saturday. There are some glaring concerns in his stats, like his 61.4% kill participation (lowest in the LCS for junglers) leading to him having the lowest adjusted KP. His vision scores are also fairly lacking for what you’d expect to a top-tier jungler.

But his ridiculously high adjusted KDA (the only jungler with one above 4.00) thanks to low deaths and high kills put him up in our tier list. He’s also the second-best jungler in the LCS (behind Svenskeren) in terms of dictating early action.

3. Robert “Blaber” Huang (Cloud9)

This is a limited sample size of one game, but Blaber played very well. In particular, I was impressed by his damage per minute and damage share numbers on Gragas of all picks. I like that C9 is giving him some more playing time, but I expect as he adds more data he’ll level out a bit.

4. Jake “Xmithie” Puchero (Team Liquid)
5. Raymond “Wiggily” Griffin (CLG)
6. William “Meteos” Hartman (OpTic)
7. Jonathan “Grig” Armao (TSM)
8. Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham (TSM)
9. Nam “LirA” Tae-yoo (Clutch Gaming)
10. Lucas “Santorin” Tao Kilmer Larsen (OpTic Gaming)
11. Lee “Rush” Yoon-jae (Echo Fox)
12. Maurice “Amazing” Stückenschneider (100 Thieves)

Amazing was the heart and soul of 100 Thieves in securing their lone win in summer, so why the hell is he so low?

Yes, Amazing deserves full accolades for his 1/2/17, 100% KP performance on Sejuani in taking down Echo Fox. But that still doesn’t outweigh the first five games of the season, where he has struggled quite heavily.

His average 3.17 deaths per game are second only to Rush, he has the lowest vision score per minute of any jungler by a wide margin (meaning even if 100 Thieves are getting starved from vision later in games Amazing wasn’t doing incredibly well earlier), and worst of all his early pathing has been questionable. He has the biggest CS differential at 10 and thus the worst gold differential at 10 minutes of all junglers, meaning he’s not sacrificing farm to get off successful ganks and snowball his lanes.
