For those not keeping abreast of the LCK action, here’s a recap of which Korean League of Legends teams are atop the standings after Week 3.

Three weeks into the LCK Summer Split several teams have started to separate themselves from the pack at both the top and the bottom. Has anyone overtaken Griffin at the top of the table? We recap all the League of Legends action from Korea in Week 3.

10. Jin Air Green Wings (2-12)

Jin Air has cemented themselves in the basement of the LCK after falling to Hanwha Life in a two-game series last week. It wasn’t as though the games were particularly close either, though TaNa did perform admirably in the game he was in.

Of course, losing to Kingzone in their other series was fairly expected, as Kingzone has been one of the stronger teams in the Summer Split. And things aren’t getting any better in the next week of the split, as they face Griffin and Sandbox Gaming.

9. SK Telecom T1 (5-11)

The MSI hangover hasn’t just continued, it’s worsened to the point that this team may need to have its stomach pumped. That may seem like something of an overreaction for a team that went 1-2 against Damwon and lost to Griffin, but SKT has been statistically atrocious throughout the split. They win games slower than any team other than Jin Air, they control objectives worse than any other team, and their kill-to-death ratio is bottom-three in the league.

8. Hanwha Life Esports (5-8)

Unfortunately, you don’t get to climb too high by beating up on the worst team in the League, especially after losing to one of the League’s bottom feeders in Gen.G. Hanwha may have beaten Jin Air, but they are still among the bottom three teams in the LCK in terms of gold percentage earned, gold spread, gold differential at 15, and vision control.

7. KT Rolster (6-9)

Similar to SKT, KT Rolster also had a rough schedule, facing Griffin and Sandbox Gaming. They also went 1-4 on the week, getting swept by Griffin. The big difference between KT and SKT is that KT’s stats are stronger overall. These two teams face each other in Week 3, so it will be crucial for both of these teams to take this series to keep their playoff hopes strong.

6.  Afreeca Freecs (8-8)

Not only losing to Gen.G, but getting 0-2’ed by Gen.G is certainly not going to help the case of a team that was previously cemented in the top tier of LCK teams. Their stats aren’t terrible, but they need to start taking some games off teams around their level like Kingzone and Gen.G.
