5. Damwon Gaming (9-8)

Damwon is a statistically strong team, but they have the disadvantage of dropping some games to teams they really should be able to beat. They won series against Jin Air and SKT, but they still struggled and dropped games in those series. This team has potential, but they need to be able to get their performance to match it.

4. Gen.G (9-6)

Gen.G may have taken down Afreeca in a clean sweep, but they also struggled mightily to put away Hanwha Life in a 2-1 series win. While they did win both their series in Week 3 to move firmly into a playoff spot, their poor play against the bottom half of teams in the LCK is quite concerning.

3. Kingzone DragonX (10-5)

Kingzone managed to take down Jin Air to remain in our top three despite ther. They also have the luxury of getting to beat up on Hanwha Life next week and further separate themselves from the pack.

2. Sandbox Gaming (10-5)

Sandbox continued to run over the competition at will in Week 3, taking both series over Afreeca and KT. Yet again, even though they won these series and took down Griffin in their only meeting, the fact that Sandbox is struggling to close out games cleanly is cause for concern. In both of their Week 3 series, Sandbox needed to go to a deciding third game to clinch the series.

1. Griffin (11-3)

Surprise, surprise, it’s Griffin at the top of our rankings after two clean sweeps of KT Rolster and SK Telecom. To illustrate just how massively Griffin are outpacing the other teams in the LCK, in our power rankings calculations the difference between Griffin and the number two team, Sandbox, is greater than the difference between Sandbox and Afreeca Freecs, the sixth-ranked team in the league. Don’t let that one lost series to Sandbox fool you, this is still the best team in Korean League of Legends by a large margin.
