Tier 1 Champions

Darius

"No longer casts his ability at times when no enemies would be in range at start of cast."

One of the strongest Tier 1 champions in TFT, this quality of life fix is very nice but just makes the Hand of Noxus all that much more dominant.

Elise

"Cost: 2g ⇒ 1g Spiderlings now benefit from the Demon Origin effect Mana cost: 75 ⇒ 100 Number of spiderlings: 2/3/4 ⇒ 1/2/4 Health: 500 ⇒ 450 Armor: 25 ⇒ 20"

These seem like huge changes, but honestly having her gold be lower doesn’t do much, because she’ll still get the Shapeshifter synergies around the game time (she and Nidalee need one additional champ for Shapeshifter). This will make it easier to get the Demon synergy early (potentially) because she’ll be more readily available early, but given that it was also just nerfed early game, I don’t see it being high priority.

Fiora

"Attack speed 0.7 ⇒ 1.0 Damage: 100-250 ⇒ 100-400"

One of the worst champs in the game, despite having a decent Origin in Noble. The buff is nice, makes building Nobles a bit more attractive early.

Graves

"Health: 500 ⇒ 450"

Graves has always been pretty “eh” to me, so this nerf does nothing but make me want to avoid Pirates and Gunslingers more after they received nerfs.

Vayne

"Attack Speed: 0.6 ⇒ 0.65"

I’m guessing this is to compensate for the changes to attack speed calculations because there is no way Riot would actually buff one of the best scaling 1g champions in the game.

Warwick

"Ability now applies on-hit effects"

You’re probably not building on-hit items on Warwick, so I doubt these changes are very impactful.

Tier 2 Champions

Ahri

"Fixed a bug where Ahri’s ability wouldn’t deal damage while she was dead Now retargets her ability if the target dies during the cast time Ability targeting: Random enemy ⇒ Current attack target"

Quality of life changes. Nothing too huge but probably a net buff.

Blitzcrank

"Fixed a bug where Blitz could hook a unit off the board if he died while casting Nearby allies are now more likely to target the unit Blitzcrank pulls"

Also quality of life changes. The retargeting by allies is very beneficial and specs into what Blitz wants to do (hook and destroy a priority target otherwise protected) but he’s still only good in that capacity.

Braum

"Fixed Braum’s tooltip to properly reflect that his shield reduces a percentage of all incoming damage Damage reduction: 60-90% ⇒ 70-90% Mana cost: 75 ⇒ 50 Ability targeting: nearest enemy ⇒ furthest enemy"

Braum is actually sneaky good because he’s one of the two champions needed for the very strong Guardian synergy. This just makes Guardians that much better as a Class in Teamfight Tactics.

Lucian

"Relentless Pursuit second shot damage: 65/150/235 ⇒ 150/250/350"

Lucian is still a very good carry to have in TFT and he’ll be way better now. Along with Fiora, this makes getting Nobles much more attractive early.

Pyke

"Mana cost: 100 ⇒ 125 Starting mana: 50 ⇒ 75"

I’m a bit unsure of how this affects Pyke since he’ll still need to generate 50 mana to get to his ability. Pyke should still be strong.

Rek’Sai

"Burrow duration: 1.5 ⇒ 1 Knockup duration: 1.25 ⇒ 1.75 Damage: 150-250 ⇒ 150-350"

Giant buff to Rek’Sai here. Overall Void and Brawlers aren’t that great, but this should make Rek’Sai more viable to flex as a front line tank.

Shen

"Starting mana: 50 ⇒ 100"

Nice, lets him get to his ult quicker. He’s still fairly mediocre as a pick in Teamfight Tactics.
