4. S04 IgNar
Dong-geun “IgNar” Lee is one of the most underrated players in Europe at the moment purely because IgNar does not get rated at all. The Korean support’s quiet persona and lack of flashy individual plays in LEC games means he’s often been overlooked by analysts and viewers in the regular season, but he’s one of the best support players in the league at the moment.
Consistent performances, particularly on Braum and Tahm Kench, combined with his contribution to shotcalling alongside fellow Korean Trick in the jungle, make IgNar the perfect support player for a team like Schalke 04 who want to secure 4th place and ideally a place in Worlds qualification. His Week 5 plays on Rakan and Tahm Kench in a 2-0 week for the team once again cemented IgNar as an excellent support player who might guide his team to playoff/Worlds success in the coming months.
6. RGE Vander
Has there ever been a more surprising resurgence in European League of Legends than the one displayed by Oskar “Vander” Bogdan in 2019? It seemed like his career in competitive play was over after unsuccessful spells at Team Roccat, H2k, and Schalke 04, but his outstanding performances in the Summer Split have undoubtedly shocked a fair few LEC viewers. Once again the Polish support player impressed in Week 5 with a brilliant Lux display to take down 2nd place Fnatic.
