New Additions

Poppy
Camille

Ever since Camille had the stun on monsters taken off her E – Hookshot/Wall Dive Camille’s been in the bottom of the jungle tier list, ultimately causing her to fall out of the tier list in 9.13. However, she’s back in the D tier, her highest ranking since those nerfs. Her win rate, though not skyrocketing up from patch to patch, is at its highest in five patches (49.4%).

Rising Champions

Kha’Zix (B+ to A tier)

After his win rate took a surprising dip in Patch 9.13, Kha’Zix’s win rate and ranking have stabilized in 9.14. His win rate is up to 49.5% from 48.8% and he’s returned to the A tier).

Nidalee (B to A tier)
Kindred (B to A tier)

Kindred’s actually been seeing her win rate steadily improve over the last five patches to her current 51.3% win rate. However, in that time she’s remained consistently in the B/B+ tier, but now she has finally jumped up to the A tier where she should have been a few patches earlier in my opinion.

Zac (B to A tier)

Zac got buffs in two straight patches (9.11 and 9.12) and saw some rise in his tier ranking, peaking at just barely into B tier. His win rate has also risen since then, now hitting 51.9% which is sixth-best among junglers.

Karthus (B+ to A tier)

After receiving some nerfs in Patch 9.11, Karthus dropped down to B or B+ tier even though his win rate remained stable around 52%. His win rate still hasn’t changed, but Karthus seems to have rebounded from those nerfs and is now back in the A tier.

Xin Zhao (B to B+ tier)

It’s always odd when a champion’s ranking does not match his win rate, as is the case with Xin Zhao. His win rate is dropping, yet he’s risen to B+ tier in this patch. However, looking at where he had been ranked in previous patches (B+ for four of the last five), it’s most likely that the drop last patch was an anomaly and he’s just moving back to where he should be ranked.

Jax (B to B+ tier)

This is the highest Jax has been rated as a jungler since Patch 9.9. Although his win rate has gone up from the last patch, it’s no higher than it has been in previous patches, indicating perhaps that a change in the meta is responsible for this sudden climb up the tier list.

Rammus (C to B+ tier)

Ever since our roly-poly friend got nerfed out of the A tier in Patch 9.11, he’s been struggling to make his way back to a decent spot. For the first time, he’s back to having a decent win rate, currently around 50.9%.

Taliyah (C to B+ tier)

Taliyah has had some wild swings on our jungle tier list in the past few patches, going from D tier in 9.10 to C tier in 9.11 to B tier in 9.12 then back to C tier in 9.13. Her current ranking is the highest it’s ever been as a jungler, even though she’s consistently had a top-10 win rate. To me, the implication is that a lot of sites we pull data from think she has too high a mastery curve to be used effectively even at high levels of play, so you should really only be investing time into her if you’re seeing good results.

Gragas (C to B+ tier)

Fear it, dread it, run from it, destiny comes all the same. For the first time since we’ve been aggregating stats on our tier list, Gragas is an above-average jungler. May God have mercy on our souls for all the boring Gragas jungle professional League of Legends games we’re going to have to endure.

Olaf (C to B+ tier)

Olaf has had a win rate in the top five for the last four patches, sitting right around 52% (as it is now), yet he too has been consistently left in the C or even D tiers. Olaf being a meta jungler along with the rise of Gragas and Zac means that the tank meta is coming back.

Amumu (C to B tier)

Don’t get excited all you low elo Amumu abusers. His ranking is just barely in the B tier so it’s entirely possible this is just an aberration before he drops right back into the C tier next patch. Since those inexplicable nerfs back in Patch 9.11 his win rate has not eclipsed the 50% mark in Platinum and above.

Warwick (C to B tier)

Warwick has actually seen his win rate steadily improve for the last few patches, currently at 51.9% which is seventh-best among junglers. Certainly, he does well in a bruiser tank meta and his continued progression on our tier list correlating with a win rate increase probably means this ranking is a solid indication of his strength.

Volibear (C to B tier)

For the first time as well, Volibear is ranked above C tier on our rankings. His win rate, though unchanged, is very solid (just over 51%) and he seems to be doing quite nicely with tanks in the jungle thriving.

Sylas (D to C tier)
Fiddlesticks (D to C tier)

Good old Fiddlesticks saw his win rate jump from 49.2% up to 50.6% in Patch 9.14. This marks the first time his win rate has been over 50% in at least five patches and marks his highest rating in our tier list ever.

Wukong (F to D tier)

Wukong has been struggling to stay relevant as a jungler, being ranked in our F tier for the previous four patches. Unfortunately, despite this rise in our rankings he still has the fifth-worst win rate among junglers at just under 48%.
