Jungle

William “Meteos” Hartman vs. Raymond “Wiggily” Griffin

After Spring Split, I thought CLG would have been justified in either benching or releasing Wiggily. In summer, however, he has been a revelation.

With an incredible 2.6 aKDA and 107% aKP, Wiggily has been one of the best junglers in the LCS. His early game numbers, while not eye-popping, have been solid, as have been his gold, damage, and vision contributions. There really are no massive holes in Wiggily’s game this split.

On the other side, Meteos has returned to form as the wily veteran, largely on the back of his incredible early game pathing. Although his champion pool is slightly narrower than Wiggily’s and his stats are overall worse, this should be an awesome match-up.

The key for this showdown will be over both players’ priority picks: Jarvan and Sejuani. Each player has at least 10 games on those two champions in the Summer Split and has their own unique counter for the two (Meteos has Olaf and Wiggily has Trundle). Ultimately, I give the edge to the better-performing player, even though experience from Meteos can’t be discounted.

Advantage: CLG
