Mid laners

Marry: Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage

Man PoE was clean in that series. A combined 16/4/13 scoreline, two dominant games on Azir (guess who C9 will be banning next week?) and the only real blemish coming when he was forced onto Syndra. That match-up next week will be amazing to watch between the two best mid laners left in the playoffs.

Date: Tanner “Damonte” Damonte

Oh hey, it’s me, Tanner–no sorry I’m not going to be entranced by Damonte‘s muscles and sick Qiyana plays. He is still a player with some massive holes (those last two games of the series were won in spite of him) and he’ll have a tough task next week against Jensen. But what can I say, I love a bad boy.

Dump: Lee “Crown” Min-ho

Speaking of Crown what the hell was that in Game 2? This was a guy who has been one of the best mids of the entire LCS split, but he just straight blew a brain fuse going back in after winning a fight that could have turned the tide of the game.

Top laners

Marry: Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon

Don’t call it a comeback! Other than their loss in Game 3 Huni looked like a monster in their series win over TSM. On GP and Rumble, he managed to bully out Broken Blade early (even when on Kled, who needs to snowball desperately) and did massive work in team fights. His absurd 676 DPM in the series is a testament to how well he played.

Date: Ruin

Ruin may not be in the conversation for MVP, but he was definitely doing his part in the series against OpTic. In particular, he smashed Dhokla on his signature pick, Aatrox, with a strong performance on Camille.

Dump: Dhokla

On the other side of that match-up, Dhokla looked good for the first game on his other signature pick, Poppy, before promptly imploding. He got destroyed in Game 2, as was mentioned, then picked Jayce in Game 3 only to do absolutely nothing. Yeah, he probably should have gotten jungle pressure in that match-up, but given how hard he failed I don’t fault Meteos for investing in his other lanes.
