5. Đỗ “DNK” Ngọc Khải (Jungle, Lowkey)

Dominating the VCS jungle isn’t easy work, but DNK did that throughout the year as Lowkey’s best player. He averaged 395 gold and 503 XP advantages at 15 minutes. Unlike Xerxe, who was willing to snowball his lanes, DNK was much more willing to take his aggressive champion pool (Sylas, Gragas, Elise, and Nidalee among his most played) and take the kills for himself. The 25.6% kill participation speaks for itself.

4. Ha “PoP” Min-wook (Support, MEGA)

Maybe the best support in the world that no one has ever heard of, PoP was a monster in the LST, posting a ridiculous 4.73 aKDA that was best in the role. And yes, he got to feast on less-talented players in the Southeast Asian region, but the fact that he was so good (he averaged only 1.3 deaths per game) makes me believe he can match up against a lot of the “better” supports he’ll be facing.

3. Lev “Nomanz” Yakshin (Mid, Unicorns of Love)

No player at the 2019 League of Legends World Championship contributed more damage to his team than Nomanz. With 622 damage per minute that accounted for 29.4% of his team’s damage, Nomanz did 646.5 adjusted DPM. Trailing behind him, with 639.8 aDPM is one of the best players in the world, Nuguri.

2. Heo “ShowMaker” Su (Mid, DAMWON Gaming)

A league that is sending Faker and Chovy to Worlds, yet ShowMaker may have outclassed them all during this LCK season. The rookie’s 6.06 kill efficiency (thanks to a 5.1 aKDA and 118.7% aKP) is second among players from the major regions, behind only Viper. ShowMaker also beat out Chovy and Faker in adjusted gold per minute and adjusted damage per minute, showing that he’s one of the best in terms of contributing to his team’s play.

1. Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon (Top, DAMWON Gaming)

There really wasn’t any question that Nuguri would lead this list. Not only is he far-and-away the best player that will be playing in the play-in stage, he may very well be the best player at the tournament. Even though his adjusted KDA isn’t anything special (2.91) his monstrous 29.5% kill share and 594 damage per minute is massive for a top laner.
