What does “very non-traditional marksman” mean?

As it stands, our line-up of marksmen consists of ranged champions, dealing at least 50% physical damage, and focusing on auto attacking rather than spell usage to maximize damage output. Judging by this criteria, we can assume that Senna has a high chance of dealing magic damage and utilizing spells in order to come under the umbrellas of “non-traditional marksman”.

If we go by lore, her partnership with Lucian would suggest that they developed synergy in battle together, which could lead to Senna using both ranged and melee abilities, opening up more space and opportunity for Lucian to apply ranged attacks to their foes.

The current marksman class revolves around late game focused carries rather than early game, meaning it’s more likely for Senna to reach a power point in the first fifteen minutes of the game rather than scaling up. In the current meta, early game focus rules which could result in Senna taking over the marksman power rankings following her release.

How did Senna escape Thresh’s lantern?

Having been encased in her enemy’s lantern for over six years now, it’ll be very interesting to discover how Senna escaped from Thresh’s clutches. The leaked splash art shows a woman with bright, almost corrupted green eyes and hair, which leads us to believe that Senna used the power within the lantern and the Shadow Isles to grow in power and escape her prison.

Does this make Lucian’s lore obsolete?

Fortunately for Riot, Lucian doesn’t have that many voice lines that reference his wife. On top of that, it’s expected that Lucian’s biography and story will receive extensive updates when Senna is released.
