Pyke

"Base Stats Health Growth: 100 –> 90 Passive – Gift of the Drowned Ones Grey Health: 30-81% (levels 1-18) of the damage he takes from enemy champions –> 25-50% (levels 1-18) of the damage he takes from enemy champions"

Pyke no longer has his own personal Warmog’s and will be punished for being chunked in the future. This makes his backline dives a lot riskier and his chances of being caught and shut down after a fight much higher. 81% to 50% is a huge nerf and will take a lot of getting used to for Pyke mains.

Combine this with 10 less health gained per level, and we could see Pyke fall down a tier or two on Patch 9.21.

Shaco

"W – Jack In The Box Box Duration: 60 seconds –> 40 seconds"

95% of Shaco’s boxes are triggered within 5 seconds of them being placed. Also, 99% of statistics are made up.

Ultimately, this doesn’t change Shaco at all, it just means he has less distracting blue circles on the map, so it could even be considered a buff.

Viktor

"Base Stats Health: 528.04 –> 530 Attack Damage: 52.04 –> 53 Armor: 22.72 –> 23 Q – Siphon Power Damage: 50/65/80/95/110 –> 60/75/90/105/120"

Viktor currently sits at a 48.88% win rate in solo queue and is not viable in any of his three potential roles. 10 extra damage on quite a spammable ability will not only increase his play rate but will have a decent impact on his early game trades, potentially pushing his win rate much closer to 50%.

One to keep an eye on, but also not something to write home about just yet.

Warwick

"Q – Jaws of the Beast Damage Ratio: 6/6.5/7/7.5/8% of the target’s maximum health –> 6/7/8/9/10% of the target’s maximum health W – Blood Hunt Bonus Attack Speed: 50/65/80/95/110% upon attacking a Blood Hunted target or an enemy unit below 50% of their maximum health –> 70/80/90/100/110% upon attacking a Blood Hunted target or an enemy unit below 50% of their maximum health"

They’ve saved the best (or worst) change until last! Warwick already sits at a strong 50.86% win rate in solo queue, and these changes will undoubtedly see that figure rise over Patch 9.21.

His early game skirmishing has been increased with an attack speed buff on his W – Blood Hunt, meaning he can match the likes of Kha’Zix, Olaf, and Xin Zhao in the first few levels. On top of that, Warwick’s mid-game team fight damage has been increased with buffs to his Q – Jaws of the Beast, meaning he’ll be hitting champions for 10% of their maximum health as early as level 13.

Basically, be sure to try Warwick out tomorrow!
