League of Legends: Riot Games is going to let you try to beat LCS pros
By Josh Tyler
Riot Games announced a new initiative as part of their 10-year anniversary where you can test your skills at League of Legends or Teamfight Tactics to beat your favorite LCS pro player!
Think you have what it takes to beat Meteos in Teamfight Tactics? Want to square up against a team with Huhi and Licorice on Summoners Rift? Well, you’re in luck because Riot Games has announced a new promotion that will let you take your shot at the best League of Legends players in the LCS!
In Riot’s recent Nexus post, Riot announced that after the first day of the Worlds quarterfinals (being played on October 26), fans will have the chance to play games of League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics with and against LCS professional players! The pro players will be playing throughout the day up until the second day of quarterfinal matches on October 27. And, to make the event extra special, the players will be giving out codes for hextech chests and keys, along with codes for the Championship Zed skin to celebrate 10 years of League!
The participating players will all be streaming on Twitch, so you can see yourself play alongside your favorite pro or share the replay as you school him in a 1v1. There are no additional details as to how players will sign up for this process at this time, so be sure to keep an eye out on Twitter for further details!
