Kha’Zix

We included Kha’Zix in our list of best assassins to climb ranked so it makes perfect sense for us to include him here as well. Kha’Zix has been one of the strongest junglers throughout Season 9, consistently being in our S or A tier throughout the year. In fact, he only dipped below the A tier one time during the entire season.

As with all assassins, Kha’Zix comes with some risk of being mechanically difficult to pilot as well as being squishy. However, he has some forgiveness to his kit (his R – Void Assault‘s invisibility and E – Leap give him some escapability) and his combos are not that mechanically difficult to execute. He also has the luxury of having some flexibility in his built, such as going full glass-cannon or a more bruiser build with items like Black Cleaver.

Nunu & Willump

This guy might have the most unique playstyle of all the champions on this list, but there is probably no better tank jungler in League of Legends than Nunu & Willump. The duo is unquestionably the best objective-securing champion in the game with their ability to Q – Consume plus smite combo and their relatively healthy clear allows them to easily invade and steal buffs from their opponent.

Like Kha’Zix, Nunu has pretty much been an A tier jungler for all of Season 9. They’ve dropped below A tier only one time and has a 51.8% win rate in Silver and below.

The one catch with Nunu & Willump is that you have to be able to adapt your playstyle to their kit. Even after the rework, Nunu & Willump are not designed to duel, but to steal camps and objectives. Yes, they have a lot more gank set-up built into their kit with W – Biggest Snowball Ever! and E – Snowball Barrage, but these are far from guaranteed CC.

Still, the fact that you can build Nunu full tank, or even off-tank if you need to bring your team some AP damage, is a plus. With his ult, Nunu is still great for team fights and snowballing (hehe) your team through objectives.
