Mechanics and Highlights
This one might be a bit harder to objectively measure, or have a number attached to it, but it can be an indicator of how good you are at the game and if you’re improving. This is even truer if you play the tougher mechanical champions. If you can pull off combos when you couldn’t before, or get the combos off so fast they never see it coming when it used to be slower and thought out you know your making strides. Typically with the more mechanical champions, they can come up with some highlight real plays if mastered. If you find yourself making those plays over and over and over again you are probably improving in your mechanical skills on a champion. That and you should have a sweet montage to share on social media to show off to your friends and serve as a reminder of your improvement.
Goals
One of the best things to do at the start of the season is making goals. Preferably ones that you can reasonably obtain during the year. It also is helpful if you set a goal you can measure such as improving in rank, or statistics. Then that way you can see if you met your goal. If you did meet the goal you can see that you did improve. If you didn’t quite reach your goal then maybe examine why it didn’t happen. Maybe you set an unrealistic goal, or hit a nasty late-season losing streak, whatever the reason it would be helpful to kind of analyze the goals you made this season. Then based on the results you can make adjustments to your new goals for the upcoming season.
Hoping that you all had a successful season on the Rift. Hopefully, you were able to use some of the points here to see if you made strides toward improvement during season nine.
