Buffed Champions

Sivir

Once a dominant ADC, the 2 base AD buff she got in Patch 9.24 actually seemed to be pretty big. Her ranking didn’t improve drastically (low to mid-C tier) but her win rate went from 48.9% to 50.4% in just one patch.

Nerfed Champions

Senna

Riot was aiming to nerf Senna in both the support role and ADC role. She got some base stat nerfs as a result, but Senna also saw hits to the damage on her Q – Piercing Darkness (both the base damage and ratio) while also getting a buff to the AP ratio on her R – Dawning Shadow. It seems clear from these changes that Riot was a bit more concerned with her performance in the ADC role.

So it must be very aggravating to see Senna is not only still at the top of the ADC tier list, but she actually improved from the last patch. She made her way from the high-A tier to the S tier just two patches after her release despite nerfs. Her win rate, while down from the ridiculous 54.7% win rate in the last patch, is still solid at 50.8% and she continues to be one of the strongest champions in League of Legends.

Methodology: These rankings were determined by finding the average standardized score of a champion from eight different tier lists from sites around the internet. This is done by assigning a certain weight to each different score, rank, or grade given by these sites (for instance, both a “Diamond” rating and “A” grade would be worth a 90 score). The standardized score is then determined by looking at the average score given to all champions in every role by that site as well as the standard deviation of scores given (so that sites that give out more high grades will not have their As be worth the same as a site that gives out very few high grades).

The full, underlying data can be found here. This link also includes the full listing of how the scores are assigned. Champions must be rated by at least half of the sites audited in order to qualify for our tier list.
