League of Legends: The 50 Greatest LCS players of the 2010s
By Josh Tyler
45. Brandon “Mash” Phan
Better known as “Dontmashme”, Mash is actually still playing professionally in the Academy League for FlyQuest in 2020. He’s played for teams like Pheonix1 and Team Impuls in his career, but back in Season 3, he was top-ten in just about every statistical category. In fact, he finished top-five in GPM and fewest deaths in one split.
44. Alex “Xpecial” Chu
Xpecial was a member of those legendary early “Baylife” TSM teams but ultimately went on to have a longer career than most of his teammates. He last played in 2017 with Phoenix1 and is currently a coach at the collegiate level. During his playing career, though, the support was constantly at the top of the KDA and deaths statistics, received multiple Player of the Week awards, and, of course, won the 2013 Spring LCS title with TSM.
43. Lee “Rush” Yoon-jae
The Kindboy himself, Rush is the lowest-rated LCS MVP on this list, largely due to his up-and-down (mostly down) career trajectory after that initial, brilliant burst onto the North American professional scene. Still, winning the 2015 Summer Split MVP has to at least get you onto the top 50 list.
42. William “scarra” Li
He’s certainly one of the most influential and popular former players on this list, thanks to all the work he’s done with team Delta Fox, OfflineTV, and as a commentator for the LCS. However, Scarra‘s accomplishments during his playing career, spanning the 2013 and 2014 seasons as mid laner for Dignitas, should not be overlooked. During the 2013 season, Scarra was in the top 10 in kills for both splits.
41. Zachary “mancloud” Allan Hoschar
Another player from back in Season 3, Mancloud actually had a fairly lengthy career, playing regularly in the LCS through 2015 as the mid laner of Team Coast. His best year came in Summer 2013 with XDG when he lead the league in gold per minute and kills.
