5. 100 Thieves (2-2)

Elo: 384 (+16)

Like Immortals, the Thieves did exactly what we expected in Week 2 by beating up on easy prey (CLG) and losing to the cream of the LCS crop (Cloud9). However, 100 Thieves team stats are far better than Immortals, so I give 100 Thieves the slight edge when the two teams face off in Week 3.

4. Team Liquid (2-2)

Elo: 483 (+88)

I’m pulling back on the TL panic button considering their two losses came to C9 and Dignitas, who look to be among the best teams in the LCS. They’ve also taken a game off FlyQuest, which kept them closer to the top-tier of team than the middle-of-the-pack teams at .500, all of this without their starting jungler. Liquid should be fine.

3. Dignitas (3-1)

Elo: 523 (-66)

Although they did take that game off Team Liquid, Dignitas (“DIG”) lost their more important game of the weekend to FlyQuest (words I didn’t think I’d ever type). A win would have bumped their elo up to 623, which would have put them at the top of these power rankings. Unfortunately, a loss put them at the bottom of the top three teams.

2. FlyQuest (3-1)

Elo: 537 (-27)

While FlyQuest did lose to TL, unlike Dignitas, the fact that they took care of DIG in their head-to-head matchup gives Team Tree a nice tree and one record after two weeks. After that fir-oceous battle (no I won’t stop with tree puns, blame FlyQuest) the team actually has the second-best kill-to-death ratio, GPM, and gold differential per minute in the League.

1. Cloud9 (4-0)

Elo: 581 (+1)

Unfortunately, C9 didn’t get a whole lot of credit for beating up on 100 Thieves and Immortals in Week 2, but they certainly look like as much of a juggernaut as one can be after two weeks of play. They lead the LCS in almost every statistical category, some by absurd amounts (their kill-to-death ratio is 3.44 and no other team’s is above 2). Next weekend, though, they’ll face the two teams directly below them in FlyQuest and DIG in what should be incredibly spicy games.
