4. Celestial

Description: This is actually super intriguing, as all units heal off damage that Celestials deal, making this a fairly powerful comp if you have the frontline and healers to keep them alive (2/4/6 units).

Champions

  • Xayah (1g)
  • Rakan (2g)
  • Xin Zhao (2g)
  • Ashe (3g)
  • Kassadin (3g)
  • Lulu (5g)

Thoughts: This class is really going to be dependent on how strong the DPS units (I’m guessing Ashe, Xayah, and maybe Kassadin and Xin Zhao) are. Off the bat, though, this doesn’t look like it will be that strong early given how low the healing is for 2 Celestials (12% of damage dealt) compared to 4 Celestials (30%) and 6 Celestials (55%).

5. Void

Description: Another throwback to Set 1, Voids do true damage (3 units).

Champions

  • Kha’Zix (1g)
  • Cho’Gath (4g)
  • Vel’Koz (4g)

Thoughts: Unlike Set 1, where you could get one random Void doing true damage at two units, here you need all three Voids to get the true damage. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, but given that two of the units are 4g that’s going to mean this trait doesn’t come online until at least the mid game. Thus, unless you’ve been building an Infiltrator comp and stacking Kha’Zixes, there’s probably not a lot of instances where you will want to add the other two Voids.

6. Valkyrie

Description: Valkyrie attacks and spells always crit when a target is below 50% health (2 units).

Champions

  • Kai’Sa (2g)
  • Kayle (4g)
  • Miss Fortune (5g)

Thoughts: This Origin doesn’t come online until much later in a game of TFT, which makes it a bit less valuable. However, it isn’t going to be a central comp, but just a complementary trait and it at least has a fair amount of stability in that you know what it will do.
