Four new skins were added to League of Legends on Patch 10.5 including three Blackfrost skins and a glorious Hextech Sejuani skin!

League of Legends will have some new looks for four champions which will be hitting the Rift on Patch 10.5. Three of these come from the Blackfrost skin line, while the fourth is a new Hextech skin for Sejuani!

Here’s our review of the four skins and whether we believe they’re worth the RP cost!

Blackfrost Alistar & Renekton (1350 RP)

The first of these skins is Blackfrost Alistar, priced at 1350 RP.

This skin looks really appealing with a cool black and blue color scheme and a blue firey glow inside the model which really tops it off.

Blackfrost Alistar is unique to all other Alistar skins which might be enough to make it worth buying on its own.

However, apart from the interesting color scheme, it isn’t a very interesting skin for its price point.

There are chromas available for Blackfrost Alistar, available at 290 RP each.

Secondly, we have Blackfrost Renekton, also priced at 1350 RP.

At first glance, you may have trouble identifying this model as Renekton due to the shape and colors of the skin, which makes it a little weird and hard to get past.

While it definitely isn’t the worst available Renekton skin, there are a few better options out there if you’re looking to add a cosmetic to your collection for the top laner (such as Renektoy).

Blackfrost Renekton also has a variety of chromas available.

Blackfrost Rek’Sai (1350 RP)

Next up is Blackfrost Rek’Sai at 1350 RP.

Once again it’s difficult to tell that this skin is Rek’Sai due to the changes to her body shape and coloring. However, once again the black and blue works incredibly well on the champion and the circle surrounding the Void Burrower when burrowed is very visually appealing.

Due to the limited cosmetic options available for Rek’Sai, it may well be worth picking up this skin for your collection. The only real alternative is Eternum Rek’Sai, so the choice is yours!

Chromas are available for Blackfrost Rek’Sai too!

Hextech Sejuani (10 Gemstones)

The final skin released with Patch 10.5 is Hextech Sejuani and it costs 10 Gemstones.

While the model might not be the best looking in the game, this skin may be worth the cost for the visual effects alone. However, at 10 Gemstones it is quite pricey and there are probably better options out there.

Ultimately, Sejuani players don’t have many high-quality skins available right now, so Hextech Sejuani could be the perfect alternative and something to save up Gemstones for.
