5. Evil Geniuses (9-7)

Elo: 372 (+25)

EG’s climb over the last two weeks has been truly remarkable. They capped their five-game winning streak on Sunday with a huge win over Dignitas that not only put them over .500 for the first time this season (and into the top half of our LCS power rankings), it also put them into a tie with TSM and FlyQuest for the second seed.

That said, it is important to recognize that EG’s wins came against most of the bottom of the league (Dignitas, Golden Guardians, CLG, and Team Liquid) with FlyQuest being the lone win of that streak against a team in the top half of our LCS power rankings. This week, they’ll have to play two playoff teams in C9 and Immortals, so getting that second seed will not be an easy feat.

Remaining schedule (elo difference): C9 (-174), Immortals (+15)
Chance at playoffs: 70%

4. 100 Thieves (8-8)

Elo: 397 (+13)

The Thieves have been putting up a quietly impressive regular season and, although they are 8-8 entering the final week, with a game remaining against CLG there’s no reason to think they can’t get to at least nine wins. In Week 8, 100 Thieves got an incredibly impressive win over FlyQuest that kept them right in the thick of the playoff hunt.

Remaining schedule (elo difference): TSM (-12), CLG (+150)
Chance at playoffs: 65%

3. TSM (9-7)

Elo: 409 (-9)

I was ready to anoint TSM the #2 team in our LCS power rankings after their impressive win over Golden Guardians on Saturday. Despite a weak opponent, TSM absolutely wiped the floor with a somewhat-desperate GGS squad. Then Sunday happened.

TSM looked absolutely lifeless in their game against Immortals, with Bjergsen and Dardoch, in particular, looking out of sorts. It seems that whenever their mid/jungle duo has an off-game TSM struggles and that happened on Sunday.

Remaining schedule (elo difference): 100 Thieves (+12), Dignitas (+62)
Chance at playoffs: 80%

2. FlyQuest (9-7)

Elo: 418 (-7)

FlyQuest made a somewhat surprising move over the weekend, considering they were right in the hunt for the second seed (and guaranteed to avoid C9), by swapping top laners. Solo played well in their win over Immortals but was a bit more of a liability on Sunday against 100 Thieves. To be fair, most people look bad playing against Ssumday.

FlyQuest still has themselves in a great position to lock up that second-seed, though. Their remaining strength of schedule is ridiculously easy and they’ll even be the first team with a chance to end Team Liquid’s season.

Remaining schedule (elo difference): Team Liquid (+78), Golden Guardians (+91)
Chance at playoffs: 95%

1. Cloud9 (15-1)

Elo: 547 (-5)

They beat 100 Thieves and CLG last weekend. Yes, the CLG game was closer than most of us expected and was a bit of a fiesta but do we really care? Cloud9 is so far above the rest of the LCS pack, the only question is who can stop them? And the answer is probably only TSM on their best day.

Remaining schedule (elo difference): Evil Geniuses (+174), Team Liquid (+207)
Chance at playoffs: 100%
