6. Immortals (8-8)

Immortals had a 1-1 Week Eight, which was more than enough to hold onto the last spot in the playoffs. A single win in Week 9 puts them at nine, which should be plenty to get them into the playoffs. Their match with Evil Geniuses this week could have some seeding implications and could force a tiebreaker between those two teams if Immortals win.

7. Team Liquid (7-9)

Still just a game out of the final playoff spot even after a 1-1 Week Eight, Liquid looks to be still hanging onto playoff hopes by the tiniest of threads. Nine wins are still achievable, but it will have to come at the expense of Flyquest and Cloud9 which isn’t an easy task even for Team Liquid.

8. Dignitas (6-10)

The good news is Dignitas finally stopped a five-game losing streak. The bad news is they are pretty much eliminated from a playoff spot.

9. Golden Guardians (6-10)

Golden Guardians had an 0-2 week eight and currently have a three-game losing streak heading into the final week of the split. With 10 losses already and seven teams ahead of them in the standings I don’t see Golden Guardians making playoffs this split.

10. CLG (3-13)

Thank goodness the split is almost over if you’re a CLG fan as it has been a long and tough one. CLG is now firmly in last place after an 0-2 week eight. They could still play a bit of spoiler in week nine for 100 Thieves and Golden Guardians. Yet it’s mostly just playing for pride at this point.
