Champions

Akali

"R – Perfect Execution Cooldown: 120/90/60 -> 100/80/60"

Since her ultimate nerf on Patch 10.3, Akali has languished in the depths of the mid lane tier list and is incapable of replicating the level of map control she boasted earlier in Season 10. As of Patch 10.7, the Rogue Assassin has a dismal 44.77% win rate in solo queue, the lowest of any mid laner.

By reducing the cooldown of Perfect Execution, the balance team hopes to increase the number of opportunities Akali has to duel with her lane opponent to create a gold or experience advantage from which to snowball.

With 20 seconds less to wait for her ultimate to come off cooldown, Akali has more openings to make plays either in lane or across the map to get her team ahead in the early/mid game.

However, her past nerfs mean this buff is not enough to propel her back to the mid lane S tier, but it should make her a little more pleasant to play on Patch 10.7 and beyond.

Corki

"W – Special Delivery Damage over Time Duration: 1.5 seconds -> 2 seconds"

This buff encourages Corki – a squishy ranged marksman – to dive face-first into the enemy team with little to no regard for his own life. However, if used correctly, Special Delivery could be just as strong as a Rumble Equalizer within a team fight.

If you knockback an enemy with Corki’s upgraded Valkyrie (or they simply stand in it), they will burn for 2 seconds, which adds up to a 33% increase in damage overall.

Basically, don’t get hit by Corki’s Special Delivery!

Fiddlesticks

The new, terrifying Fiddlesticks will be hitting live servers on Patch 10.7! Here’s our breakdown of the champion’s kit, but for a look at his numbers, check out the official patch notes!

Galio

"R – Hero’s Entrance [New] Now grants allies in the area Galio’s E – Shield of Durand magic shield for 5 seconds."

One thing’s for sure, if you’re up against an AP-heavy team, be sure to lock in Galio in the future!

If Galio can land his ultimate on 3-4 teammates during a team fight then they’ll have a huge advantage over mages for the opening 6 seconds of the skirmish. We could also see this buff impacting Galio’s item build over the next few patches.

Right now, the Colossus sits at a sub-par 48.43% win rate and is quite an unpopular mid lane pick in the current meta. This buff should go some way to improving his mid lane and support presence on Patch 10.7.

Garen

"Passive – Perserverance Cooldown: 7 seconds -> 8 seconds Q – Decisive Strike Movement Speed Duration: 1.5/2/2.5/3/3.5 seconds -> 1/1.65/2.3/2.95/3.6 seconds"

Despite several attempts from the balance team to shut him down, Garen remains an S tier pick in the top lane with a 51.52% win rate on Patch 10.6, but that may not be the case for long!

Increasing his Perseverance cooldown, albeit for just 1 second, makes it more difficult to heal up and sustain in during the laning phase, opening up Garen’s vulnerability early on.

Add this to the movement speed reduction on Decisive Strike and we could well be seeing Garen sink down the top lane tier list in the next few weeks as he struggles to chase down or flee from enemy champions.

Ivern

"E – Triggerseed Magic Damage: 60/80/100/120/140 -> 70/95/120/145/170 R – Daisy! Cooldown: 160/140/120 seconds -> 140/130/120 seconds"

Being one of the most unique champions in the game, you’d expect Ivern to have a much larger player base. That’s not the case, however, as too few people have played the champion on Patch 10.6 for him to have a statistically significant win rate.

In an attempt to turn that around, the balance team has buffed two of the Green Father’s most important abilities, Triggerseed and Daisy!

The former is receiving a damage buff, which isn’t really too impactful as you’re hardly using the ability to burst down your opponent, it is far more effective as a shield.

As for the Daisy! buff, a -20 second cooldown buff isn’t really that big of a deal either as Ivern’s ultimate isn’t something to be used off cooldown, it is instead used when setting up around objectives or for a gank/team fight.

Overall, these changes will have very little impact on Ivern’s win rate on Patch 10.7 but may go some way to increasing the champion’s play rate and we may finally see how he’s faring in the current meta.

Kai’Sa

"E – Supercharge Cooldown: 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 seconds -> 16/15/14/13/12 seconds"

Although her pick rate is the second-highest of any ADC on Patch 10.6 (20.0%), Kai’Sa is by far the worst marksman in the current meta with an abysmal 46.81% win rate.

While reducing her Supercharge cooldown by 1 second at Level 10 and 2 seconds at Level 13 will improve Kai’Sa’s damage output and maneuverability inside team fights, it won’t exactly propel her up to the S tier of bot lane.
